Imam Rauf an Accessory to Stabbing of Muslim Taxi Driver?

According to foxnews.com, a Muslim taxi driver was stabbed tue. night August 24. The NYC taxi driver is in stable condition and he claims that his passenger entered the cab and began conversation with him, then the passenger asked the driver if he was a Muslim. When the driver replied yes about being Muslim the passenger attacked him with a knife, slicing his throat, arm and lip.

Authorities say it's unclear whether or not the driver was attacked over the recent controversy of the planned building of a mosque at ground zero. Is it just a coincidence that this attack happened amid a very strong debate about a ground zero mosque? Well we won't know the truth until the attacker reveals to us his motive behind the attack. But let's speculate for a moment here and say that the attacker was motivated by the idea to build a mosque at ground zero, which provoked him to attack a Muslim.

If indeed this act of violence was provoked from this plan to build a mosque upon the graves of 9/11 victims, then Imam Rauf should be ashamed. Imam Rauf is an accessory to this attack, it was his ideology, theology and actions that have provoked such hate. It's unclear the religion of this man who attacked the Muslim taxi driver, so for now we will speculate that he is a Christian. Muslim's shouldn't take this act of violence to heart, after all Muslim's have more Christian blood on their hands than Christians have Muslim blood. I'm not trying to justify it.... I mean it's wrong to attack people.... I'm just saying. Hmmm does this sound familiar?

Well the above statements and claims would sound awfully familiar if you have been keeping up with the ground zero mosque story. Imam Rauf has said that the U.S. is an accessory to 9/11, because our policies and beliefs provoked the Islamic radicals to attack us. He also said that while it's wrong to kill people, and it's against his religion; America has more Muslim blood on it's hand than Al Qaeda has non-Muslim blood on their hands. I don't know about you but that sounds like he's speaking out of both sides of his mouth there. "Well you shouldn't kill people but really who can blame them, they're just trying to even up the tally" To me that's basically what he is saying. Do these statements sound like a peace bringing man who just wants to help a country, who he claims is evil, overcome their fear of Islam or a man who is trying to pour salt in an open wound of a country who stands for values and views he can't tolerate?

Let's move on to the next step here. We've speculated that this thug stabbed a Muslim taxi driver because he was bitter about a proposed mosque and that he is a Christain. So what do we do next? Well we want to make sure that Muslims understand that Christians are peaceful and this one thug was a stand alone who strayed from the path of true Christianity. So we find some property around where the attack happened, or maybe near the taxi company, or who knows maybe even around the planned mosque property. Once we purchase the property we'll build a Church/ anti-attack of Muslim taxi driver information center/ community center..... yada yada yada. We then go around preaching this peace restoration to Muslims all the while we're claiming that really Rauf is to blame, he is an accessory to the crime and that Muslims shouldn't be too upset because they have more blood on their hands than Christians. I wonder... how would Imam Rauf respond?

Here is where I stand on this issue of a Muslim taxi driver being stabbed. I don't know if the attack was motivated by the planned mosque or not, I assume it probably was, but it doesn't matter the reason people use to attack others. It's all evil, that's the bottom line, the excuse for why they do it just helps them choose a target to inflict their hate and evil upon. I don't care what the thug's religion is, though I may have a problem with a religion that calls for the death of non believers. I don't believe that Rauf should be blamed as the cause and be called an accessory but I do believe that you do unto other's as you would have other's do unto you. So Rauf deserves a taste of his own medicine, to reap what he has sown, to have his own slanderous words thrown back in his face. I also believe that the U.S. is not to blame for 9/11, but evil thugs who have an excuse to target victims, in order to carry out thier evil plots are to blame.

I'm sure in the coming days the religous identity of the thug will be released. When that information is found out, I would not suggest any leaders or person's associated with his religion to stand up and defend yourselves by constucting a building of any sort. There is no reason to mend relationships between this thugs religion and Muslims, to do so would be profiling, assuming that Muslim's are so hateful that they would just assume the entire religion is built upon stabbing Muslim's and whishing harm to them because of one person's actions. Also if the religion of this thug does not teach people to go out and assault people, then why go through so much work to convince people that the religion is peaceful? If a person in my family goes out and commits a crime, do I go around clearing my name so that people will know that their actions don't represent me? Of course not, that would be foolish. I know that there will be a few ignorant people who will assume I'm a flea bag just like my family member who committed the crime, but I'm convinced that the majority will know me based off my character, how I conduct myself and by my words.

Religious text is enough to prove that your religion does not condone our instigate people to commit acts of violence. Let the teaching speak for itself, there is absolutely no need to construct a building just to make your case, because chances are people who feel your religion is corrupt and orders violence, probably won't be stopping by any time soon. Also to claim you come in peace, by stirring up distrust and chaos is just pure ignorance. That would be like an intruder barging into a person's home saying "I'm just here to knock on the door and wait for you to invite me in, so we can sit down for tea and crumpets." Finally, get real people... a mosque is not required for a person to be Muslim. The people who want to build this mosque are Muslim, before they wanted to build the mosque they were Muslim, if they indeed do build the mosque they will still be Muslim and if they don't build the mosque, guess what they'll still be Muslim, that is freedom of religion. Sure I love the fact that I can go to Church and fellowship with my brothers and sisters, but if a disaster were to wipe out that building..... guess what? I will still be a Christian and can worship God anywhere, anyplace, anytime in this country without the fear of being thrown in jail or killed. So stand up tall, wipe the tears from your eyes and if you truly wish to bring peace then bring it peacefully, not by cramming it down the throats of people who will just vomit it back up and spit in your face.

One last final thought, Imam Rauf before you attempt to teach the American people that Islam is peaceful, you should teach Islam's followers first. Go build a mosque/community center in the countries where radical Islam thrives and explain to them how what they are doing is against Islam. What is more important to change; a person's view of Islam or a person/group using Islam to carry out violent acts? Go build a mosque for Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah etc, invite them in and share your enlightening interpretation of Islam with them first. Only a fool or a man with cruel intentions would bring a wild lion on stage and convince the audience it's tamed. He is either so foolish he believes he can trick the audience into believing the wild lion is tame, or he hopes to gain the trust of the audience and when they approach to pet it, take pictures and let their children ride on its back, he releases the beast to devour his enemies. Which are you Rauf, the fool or a man with cruel intentions? Instead tame the lion first then you can bring it on stage, the audience will know it's true nature by how it acts and listens to your commands. As of right now, the lion is murdering innocent people all over the world, Muslims and non-Muslims fall to the blood thirsty hands of these Islamic terrorists. Either you stand with them Rauf or against them, and if you indeed stand against them, watch your back because they've become a starving lion who will not allow anyone or anything to stand in the way of their ambitions... to see all infidels and opposition annihilated.
